As former manager of the Culloden Battlefield Centre for Scotland's National Trust, Hugh knows what a moving experience a visit there can be. Please join us at Tir Na nOg on Wednesday 29th September for a Scottish Whisky Tasting / Buffet & Scottish Story telling. This event will be hosted by a very special guest from Scotland. Hugh Allison, a native of Lochaber, Scotland, grew up as the son of a family doctor in a wee town and lives the Scottish experience. He was taught the tradition of the "Seanachaidh", the guardian of tales. Hugh can tell stories! Hugh has authored three books surrounding the history of Scotland and its people, delivered in a way the encourages the reader to delve deeper into the heritage that is so rich and that so many in Appalachia share. As a tour guide in his native country or a guest speaker abroad, he touches on the soul of a rich past that grabs the listener.
Price per person is $45 and that will include a complimentry ticket to see Albannach LIVE at Tir Na nOg on the following evening September 30th
